Item not delivered but missed 30 days.
Summary: aarong328 discussed issues with a seller after an item they ordered did not arrive. Despite contacting the seller beyond the designated 30-day period and initially receiving cooperation, the seller later became uncooperative. papso22 suggested pursuing a claim through the payment source, while tressygirl advised leaving appropriate feedback. red_magpie recommended checking with the payment provider to seek buyer protection options, noting these protections often extend to 120 days.
I ordered an item but it did not arrive, I completely forgot about it and contacted the seller, albeit I was well out with the 30 days the seller agreed to send a new one and I thought all was well. The seller never told me when he had sent the parcel so I wasn't sure when it would be arriving, I contacted him 2 weeks later to let him know I still hadn't received and he told me I had "wasted his time" and "not to buy from him again" not sure if there's anywhere I can go from here as eBay won't leet. me leave a review and the only option is to contact seller which is pointless now ?

Mentor3 weeks agoAs you've discovered, if you don't open an eBay claim within their 30 day Money Back Guarantee you can't pursue a refund via eBay.
If you funded the payment with PayPal you have 180 days to open a not received claim.
If you paid with debit/credit card or Apple Pay you have 120 days to issue a not received chargeback.

Mentor3 weeks agoYou haven't told us how you paid, but most payment providers accepted by eBay e.g. credit or debit card issuers provide some form of buyer protection, typically for 120 days. Give your a call and see if they can help.

Mentor3 weeks agoReviews and feedbacks are 2 different things.
You can certainly leave feedback, but careful what you say , there are feedback rules, something simple like....' Very disappointed this seller did not fulfill the transaction', is sufficient.
