Item not delivered and eBay closed my case. Evri delivered to a different address but refuse to help | Member To Member Support

So I purchased an item and it was delivered to the wrong address. I have raised an issue with eBay and they have closed the case as the tracking info says it was delivered. The address on the tracking info is for a house about a kilometer away and I know the family well as, from time to time, the delivery drivers cant be bothered to look at the house names or street name's as the postcode covers about 7 properties in the area. They did not have the parcel either.The seller is ignoring me and I cannot speak to Evri as I was not the customer but the seller was. eBay have closed my case and are not helping at all. I am however £55 down with nothing to show for it and a headache in admin trying to sort this out. What the heck is buy protection fee for then????? Help xx
