iTEM NOT ARRIVED AND NOT IN PURCHASE HISTORY
Summary: norbar691 shared their experience of ordering an item from what they believed was eBay, receiving a dispatch email, but the item never arrived. They could not find any record of the purchase in their eBay account or contact the seller. tommystrezures suggested that they might have ordered as a guest and provided a link to eBay’s guidance on guest purchases for further assistance.
Ordered an item from what i am sure was ebay. and got dispatch email on 9 July. Nothing arrived so tried to contact seller on the link, but it would not connect through. Signed into my ebay account and there was no trace of the purchase although the seller is on there selling items. Tried to contact seller through my account but I could not enter details on the screen. When i tried to raise an issue with ebay there was no trace of the purchase. Got a feeling I may have been scammed but just wanted to check if anyonr has had a similar experience, and if so, what did you do? Thanks

Mentor2 weeks agoIt may well be that you ordered the item as a guest, so things happen slightly differently and of course a seller wouldn't know who you are per se if you ordered through this route.
