item missing from package
i bought an iyem from ebay, when it arrived it was in a royal mail clear bag as it was a damaged package and the item was missing from the package, i notified ebay and the buyer by opening an item not received request and highlited the issue, ebay has got back to me to say i have towait another 5 days to see if the item turns up but it ont as i have the damaged package with nothing inside, what do i do

OP1 month agohow do i open a new case with the correct terminology as i couldnt see a damaged in transit option

Mentor1 month agoYou have to close the item not received case and open a returns one.

Mentor1 month agoYou need to close the item not received claim first, confirming that you've received something.
Then open an eBay return and select 'Item damaged' as the reason. Add a photo of the packaging you've received and submit it.

Mentor1 month agoYou can't use a "not received" because the tracking will say delivered. Close that and open a return using the reason "damaged in transit".

Dealing with AI you will no doubt just receive standard replies.
