Item gas been refunded what to do with it

Question

Hello all I purchased a treadmill which wasn't as described, short story ebay had to get involved and I've been refunded, seller can still collect the treadmill but hasn't contacted me yet.

Don't think I should be chasing them anymore as the case is closed.

Question is how long I should/have to keep the treadmill for before i can dispose of it?

Personally, to cover myself, I would send the seller one more message.

Keep it polite and concise and advise them that they have until (pick a date) to collect the treadmill or you will feel free to dispose of it.

It would probably be better if they did collect it as that will save you the bother of disposing of a bulky item.

You don't need to chase them any further. If the seller did not send a return postage label before the refund, then it would seem they do not want their item back, you are certainly not responsible for its return now, as you have been refunded, and case is closed.
