Item delivered. but tracking saying it hasnt been
Hi all
ive recently sold an item, i used an ebay postage label, the buyer has confirmed they have recieved the item. yet the tracking information is showing still pending. so as a result i have not been paid. how to i go about getting paid for the item. i have a screenshot proving that they buyer now has the item. Yet royal mails tracking, is still showing outstanding.

Mentor7 months agoThere's nothing you can do. If the tracking doesn't update the payment will be held for 14 days.

Mentor7 months agoThat's the minimum hold if there's no tracking to show delivery.
We do not know of any other holds on your account for example, if you are a new/ relatively new seller, a returning seller, or if the item was of a high value.

OP7 months agoive sold before, not for awhile now though. i did sell something else at the same time. give or take a day of 2, this has all gone through fine, and ive been paid. both items only small in value

Mentor7 months agoAaah, if you are a returning seller, you initial payouts may be held a little longer, as sudden selling activity on a dormant account raises red flags to eBay as it could be a sign that the account has been hijacked.
your payouts may be held until eBay are happy that no return cases are going to be actioned.
It's a good security measure.
