Item couldn’t be delivered so need to resend. What are my next steps?
I posted an item via yodel store last week the item couldn’t be delivered. There seemed to be some confusion with the seller changing it from an InPost locker (it’s too big to fit) to another address. Anyway it couldn’t be delivered and was sent back to me. The seller still wants the item. How do I resend- can I use the same label? Do I need the buyer to send a new one. How does this work? And how can I make sure they have selected an address it will actually be delivered to.

Mentor7 months agoProbably best to cancel/refund the currect transaction with buyer's agreement (via the dropdown menu next to item on your orders list) and relist for them to buy again.

Mentor7 months agoAs you have received the item you need to refund the buyer , cancel the order citing Problem with Buyer's Address this refunds the buyer, and doesn't affect your seller performance.
You can then relist the item for the buyer to buy, and pay again.
Personally, I would send the buyer a polite message firstly explaining the actions above, then for them to make sure they have the correct delivery address when buying the item again.
This needs to be checked , before paying at eBay checkout, delivery address is shown on the left hand side and can be corrected if necessary.
Remind them you can only post to the name and address eBay will provide and this is the one the buyer has as their delivery address for the order, and also not to select Inpost or the same issue will arise.
