Item bought whilst I am away
I have sold an item with a deadline date for postage on 27th October, however I am away on holiday and will be back on 29th October. I have message the buyer who is okay with the arrangement. Do I need to inform eBay as well, if so how do I do that? Thanks

You can use time away mode to inform buyers.

Mentor9 months agoeBay won't help. The only alternative to being late is to cancel/refund the transaction with buyer's agreement (via the dropdown menu arrow for the item on your orders list) and relist when you get back for them to buy again.

OP9 months agoWill eBay not wait for 2 days as the deadline to post is 27th October and I can post on 29th October.
The buyer messaged me and said he is okay to wait.

Mentor9 months agoIf you don't send it out you'll likely get a late delivery defect. Just one won't hurt your account, but these defects are best avoided.
