It problem; missing messages and purchase details
Summary: gratuf-0 is facing an issue with a missing item and deleted messages and purchases in their account. They find the online and phone support from the platform unhelpful and are seeking advice on contacting an agent directly. tobiasd4 suggests using the automated case system to handle the dispute by opening an 'item not received' case after the delivery date and escalating if necessary.
I am in dispute with a seller in regard to getting a refund on an item I have not received.
Today I have found out that all recent messages in my account have been deleted as have the two most recent purchases (one of which is the item that was never sent).
ebay online help does not help and using a telephone number, that I spoke to an agent on yesterday, takes me onto a menu system that does not have an option to talk about IT problems (and the AI does not recognise what I am saying when I try to phrase what I am saying in any way that I have tried).
How do I speak to an agent without having to go through an infuriating, unhelpful AI system or the online hep system that send me round in circles?

Mentor1 week agoNever bother getting involved with a seller, when ebay provides the means to get refund. Suggest you look on right side of every listing for link to the 30 day money back guarantee.

Mentor1 week agoNo need to contact ebay or seller, cases are automated.
1 day after estimated delivery date open item not received case, escalate on day 4 if still no item.
Ignore seller excuses.
