Issues with fake gold being sold to me
Hi all,
I was sold 9ct Yellow Gold Bulldog Pendant by a seller on the 6 Nov 2024 for £1.110.00
So the issue is I have recently got it tested at my local jewellery store and they have provided me written evidence that it is fake that I can upload.
I can't locate how to contact Ebay to help in terms of getting me a refund. I have contacted the seller but they have denied all wrongdoing.
How can I proceed as I cannot find any option to resolve this.

Mentor6 months agoHad your purchase been a bit more recent, if your evidence is strong I might be inclined to pursue this via a small legal claim, but since it was purchased in November 2024 I can't see a way to successfully pursue this, you've had it for too long. The sellers feedback has no indications that they sell fake gold items either.
For that price I'd have got it checked over by a jeweller within the 30 days you have to return it in.
