Hello everyone, I am facing an issue while trying to complete the bank verification process for my eBay Sole Trader (business) account. Whenever I try to link my bank account, I receive the following error message: “Sorry, something went wrong. Please try again later.” Because of this, I am unable to complete the verification process and fully activate my business account. I am using my personal bank account for my sole trader business, and I want to confirm that this is correct. However, the system is not allowing me to complete the bank linking step. Could someone please explain why this error might be occurring and how I can fix it? I would really appreciate any guidance. Thank you.

Maybe why you are having problems, upgrade to business account and try adding bank again.

OP4 months agoYes, I am currently trying to convert my account from Private to Business (Sole Trader). The issue started during the conversion process itself, and it seems to be stuck at the bank verification step.
Everything else in the setup process has gone through correctly, but I am unable to complete the final bank verification step, and that is where I am getting the error.
Could you please advise what might be causing this and how I can complete the conversion successfully?

OP4 months agoThe issue has not been resolved yet. The solution provided suggests doing extra verification, but I have not received any email or verification request so far.
Also, while trying to convert my account to a business account, the system is not showing the required option and keeps giving a system error. Because of this, I am unable to complete the verification process.
Please could you guide me on how to fix this or manually trigger the verification?

OP4 months agoYes, my eBay account name and bank account name are the same. However, I may have made a mistake while checking, so I would appreciate it if you could also double-check or guide me in case there is any other possible reason for this issue.
I am still receiving the same error while trying to complete the bank verification process for my Sole Trader account.
