Isle of Man Post Office not recognising Royal Mail labels
Hi all
Needed to return an item, with eBay telling me I had to use their label.
I live on the Isle of Man, and went to the main sorting office of Isle of Man Post Office, to be told that they don't recognise Royal Mail labels, and that I'd have to pay the postage.
Told this to the seller, who's said that they don't pay for return's postage.
Anything I can do to make sure I'm not out of pocket, especially as the item that arrived didn't match the photo's in the listing
Ta muchly

·5 months agoI would contact Ebay Customer Services and explain that you are unable to use the label supplied by the seller and see what they suggest.
Use the link below to get a callback.
I would wait until tomorrow morning. Ebay Dublin are more likely to call you in the morning and they will (hopefully) understand the issue you are having is due to living on the IoM.

OP5 months agoHi jckl1957
Thanks for the reply.
I've tried that route, and it's saying it can't get through to my phone, yet I've no restrictions on my phone.
Looks like I'm going to have to suck it up and accept the hit on the postage back.
It's just annoying that the seller hasn't accepted any responsibility for either the wrong pic on the listing, or sending me the wrong item.
Ah well ... onwards and upwards !
Many thanks and kind regards
Stuart
