Is this a scam and if so what’s the point?
Summary: sant_9370 shared a concern about a potential scam after purchasing a PC from a seller who stopped responding post-payment. They noted the seller's positive communication before the purchase and mentioned some possibly fake reviews. tressygirl advised waiting until the delivery due date passes before taking action, suggesting familiarity with eBay's 30-day Money Back Guarantee if issues persist.
So I bought this pc off of a guy that seemed quite nice at first, he responded to my messages immediately and was communicating with me. Once I paid, he has stopped contact with me and I’ve heard nothing from him, the pc was supposed to be shipped 2 days ago but nothing. I don’t know if the guy is busy but it seems quite unusual, the pc was a good deal so I don’t know if I want to cancel the order yet. I know the guy in the feedback was warning me but idk I just impulse bought. And some of the reviews seem fake . Tell me what to do

Buyers cannot cancel purchases, so do not trust this seller to take any notice of a request to cancel, seller would just play for time to prevent you opening a case.

If a reasonable time passes your item's last estimated date for delivery you open a case for item not as described, and escalate on day 4, if not refunded beforehand.
If you do receive it and it is not as described, you have 30 days to return it at the seller's expense for a full refund.
Your money is safe, as said, nothing for you to do now.
Familiarise yourself with eBay's 30 day MBG, written on every listing and on the link below for you, in case you need it later.
