The only time a buyer pays a seller direct is if the item is listed in a category that does not have payment through ebay checkout.

This is mostly vehicles.

Then you can accept cash or equivalent, such as bank transfer.

That is a secure international bank transfer , but it would not be accepted for listed items, as it's not down as an option for the buyer to select .
