Is anyone else having issues with Royal Mail parcel lockers when using simple delivery?

I am a private seller on eBay so simple delivery is the only option open to me.

An item dropped off on Saturday wasn't collected until Monday evening.

I dropped off two items at the same time on Sunday evening and these were collected separately on Tuesday morning.

I had an additional two items to drop off on Monday afternoon but the local Royal Mail parcel lockers were completely full and I had to go elsewhere to send these items.

This appears to be slower and more complicated than using the Post Office as that was what I did when I send my items 2nd class signed for before eBay switched my listings to simple delivery.

I am really not finding simple delivery to be simple at all and wonder how long eBay are going to insist on using this delivery method. I know others are having similar experiences with simple delivery not working for them either.

Due to the low value of my items it is not viable for me to register as a business seller and especially since my number of regular buyers has gone down ever since the announcement of simple delivery.

If anyone employed with eBay is reading this I hope you'll pass this along to your managers.
