iPhone
Bought a iPhone 11 and the phone isn’t just what it’s meant to be, thought it was me but isn’t. The phone freezes, has certain features of an android . Sent back to seller, he returned it after “fixing it” its doesn’t freeze anymore but has a mind of its own. Screen locks and you can’t get into phone for like 5/10mins . I want my money back, how do I let eBay know and get my money back asap

Mentor5 months agoI want my money back,
It would have helped us to help you had told us when and how you paid, and when the iPhone was first delivered to you. Your rights depend upon this.
The easy way should be to use Bay's money back guarantee. You would receive a full refund and eBay would also require the seller to send you a prepaid return label. But the time limit to open a case is 30 days from the date it was originally delivered. If you are still within this time limit, see: https://pages.ebay.co.uk/ebay-money-back-guarantee/
If it's already too late to do this, depending upon how you paid your payment provider may be able to help, e.g. credit card, debit card, Google Pay or Apple Pay.
Failing this, if there's enough money involved, you could consider using the Official GOV.UK Money Claims Service, see: https://www.gov.uk/make-court-claim-for-money/make-claim . I would suggest you take legal advice or consult Citizen's Advice first. Make sure you have all the facts to hand, for example exactly how you paid and whether the seller is private seller or a UK registered business seller.

Mentor5 months agoIf its still within 30 days of delivery and you didn't open a return when you sent it back you can start one now using the reason "not as described". Escalate it after 4 days.
