Infuriating Ebay AI
I have sold an item on Ebay on 27th , but though it is marked as sold on the site and has been removed from the live Ebay, I have not received the payment. The so called AI helpline on Ebay jsut takes me round in circles and I can't speak to a human! What can I do?

Mentor2 weeks agoIf there is no message from eBay that your buyer has paid, you still have to wait the allowed time which is 4 days for the buyer to pay you.
Once this lapses, you can cancel the order citing Buyer Has Not Paid.
This gives the buyer a deserved strike on their account, if they gain another , they will not be able to buy from the majority of sellers on eBay for a full 12 months, sellers who have blocked 2 strike non payers.
Always too, block any non payer from returning to your sales, here:

Mentor2 weeks agoWas it the pool table, didn't the buyer collect it?
Did you add the collection code that the buyer gave you to the order?

OP2 weeks agoYes. It was actually delivered. The buyer has a good Ebay record

Mentor2 weeks agoGreat. I see that you're an infrequent seller, so eBay may hold your payment for a while. You can keep an eye on it via the button on this eBay guidance page:

OP2 weeks agoThanks. I was a more frequent seller around the Covid time, but not recently. Thanks all for the advice

Mentor2 weeks agoAs long as you can see your held payment there all is good, it will eventually be released.
