Since found out it’s a tricky situation. It isn’t against the law as such but you have to source special insulated packaging to put it in. Was already advised to “throw it” by the seller. I was glad to ! EBay opened a case for me and the seller accepted the return. So obviously not willing to refund a £5 sale. Trouble is, I’ve nothing to return ? Anyway eBay say they will monitor until time up in return so I’ll see what happens. thank you for your reply and help, appreciated.

Contact eBay Customer Services explain the issue perhaps they may issue the refund without the need for the return of the item.
