Contact eBay Customer Services explain the issue perhaps they may issue the refund without the need for the return of the item.

OP11 months agoSince found out it’s a tricky situation. It isn’t against the law as such but you have to source special insulated packaging to put it in. Was already advised to “throw it” by the seller. I was glad to ! EBay opened a case for me and the seller accepted the return. So obviously not willing to refund a £5 sale. Trouble is, I’ve nothing to return ? Anyway eBay say they will monitor until time up in return so I’ll see what happens.
