Increased number of complaints regarding damaged parcels
I have seen a number of raised concern for parcels arriving damaged, as a seller I have take numerous precautions of ensuring everything is wrapped securely and labelled fragile but still seeing damaged boxes and a bent corners.
As a buyer I would assume they believe the seller is at fault but transit is the main issue, this is very disheartening and I have had a couple of bad transactions due to this. What is the best course of solution for issues likes this as I have taken the steps myself to make sure to mitigate these issues.

Mentor10 months agoOn the plus side if you send using Simple Delivery ebay covers damage in transit.
On the negative side, sellers who buy to sell need an ebay business account and then can't use Simple Delivery.

Mentor10 months agoIt's true couriers do not handle items with kid gloves, and items need to be packed so securely, they could survive 90 minutes at Wembley!
There have been some really worrying tv programmes showing items being thrown over hedges/ gates into people's gardens, I remember seeing one showing a delivery person trying to throw an item into a first floor bedroom window, failing 3 times, item crashing to the ground each time !
You ask what's the best course of actions? For a seller? I see you are selling a lot of boxed Lego sets, as you know, if these are going to a collector the box is as important if not more so, than the contents. I sold a few of these boxed sets, and wrapped the box in loads of bubble wrap then put the whole thing into another box, made it into a Large item, but it arrived in good order .
