Incorrect item matched by my garage
Bought some brake pads matched to my car through my garage.
Didn't realise they were wrong until i attempted fitting them.
Sellwr now won't accept return as they have been unpacked and handled.
I don't blame them as it was eBay's own my garage tool that chose incorrectly
Do I have any way to contact ebay about this other than the stupid AI assistant?

Mentor9 months agoBuyers are entitled to open and inspect tiems on delivry. Sellers can't refuse to accept returns if they don't match the description.
You need to read and use use eBay's money back guarantee, see: https://pages.ebay.co.uk/ebay-money-back-guarantee/
Open a case and if necessary escalate it after three days for eBy to step in and enforce a refund.
Do NOT state that the item does not fit! Explain the problem in another way, e.g. that they are not the correct replacement part for your vehicle, although described as such. eBay treats items that doesn't fit as a change of mind return, as in bought a jumper and it doesn't fit.
