Impossible PIN delivery. How to actually speak to Ebay
I am trying to arrange delivery of a pair of shoes I bought recently.
The seller insisted on having the delivery PIN protected, meaning I have to provide a PIN number to the DPD delivery driver.
However, the PIN is being sent to an old number which is no longer linked to my Ebay account.
The DPD driver has been to my house three times, with the shoes, and on each occasion walked away with them because I cannot access the PIN.
The seller says it's out of his hands.
To rearrange a delivery I am required (by DPD) to request a PIN, which (you guessed it) is preset to go to the old number.
I have asked the seller to cancel the purchase but he does not wish to engage with that.
When trying to contact Ebay I can't get past an automated agent that tells me the item may still be out for delivery. Would really appreciate any advice on how you get through to an actual Ebat agent. Thanks

Mentor7 months agoAs **peaseblossom** says you will have to contact eBay to get the PIN for delivery, it's not the seller insisting on the PIN it's part of the eBay authentication process where delivery of items over $500 require PIN verification.
Then make sure all your contact details and addresses are up to date.

Mentor7 months agoOur direct link to request a callback has been removed by ebay. All we can do now is get to automated assistant and put Can I speak to an agent? Repeat until they pass you to someone. Use a different question to your actual problem, if necessary.
