I’m on vacation, I’ve sold an item, I have contacted the buyer to say I can’t post until I return home, they’re happy but I’m getting notifications from eBay to say I’m overdue, is this a problem?

Yes it is. You are heading for a defect and the label might expire.

With a very low number of sales, just one defect can have a serious affect on your selling record.

You should have set your account to time away then you wouldn't have this problem.
