I’m a buyer and need urgent help pls
I have accidentally placed a bid on an item and I have previously bought from eBay once with PayPal and the bid I placed now was accidental and it won’t let me retract the bid as I’m not within the time gaps. Can anyone help me to tell me if my bid is automatic or manual, because I know that if it’s manual I don’t have to end up paying but if it’s automatic I don’t get to confirm or anything, eBay takes my money straight away

Mentor3 weeks agoIt's only automatic if you bid a maximum amount, rather than just one bid. Only you know that.
Immediate payment is a setting that applies to both types, if the seller has used it.

Mentor3 weeks agoSend the seller a message to cancel your bid , explain why, as they can cancel bids right up to the end of the auction.
