i would like to deliver the item myself,to the buyer as they are close ,where do i get a collection / delivery code

You don’t, unless you list for collection and buyer selects that option.

It is the buyer who gets a code when then select to collect, and give it to you on collection. It is your only proof of delivery, without it buyer could get a full refund.

The only was to be safe, js with buyer’s agreement you cancel sale, which refunds the buyer, and relist with collection option and buyer buys and pays again.
