I was sold counterfeit goods

I bought a Louis Vuitton mini headphone case as a present for my wife for $111.00 from an American seller that advertises a lot of similarly branded goods. It came with a certificate of authentication. My wife didn’t like it so it sat in a drawer for a year until I decided to try and sell it on eBay. When I listed it, eBay said it was counterfeit and refused to allow me to advertise it. Do you think I could get my money back despite it being purchased in June 2025?

No way, ebay only has. 30 day money back guarantee, and payment provider at best 120 days.

Ebay uses the “fake” when an item cannot be sold because of the Brand Owner does not allow sale by unauthorised sellers. Suggest you read VERO, as it may not be a fake, and you could possibly sell on a different site.
