I was charged to revise my product prices
Summary: hommart_uk experienced unexpected fees while using eBay's CSV template to update prices and quantities for their listings, even though these updates should not incur charges under eBay's policies. They are seeking advice on how to handle this situation.
I recently used the eBay CSV template (File Exchange/bulk upload) to revise the price and quantity on a batch of my existing live listings. No new listings were created, no listing upgrades or special features were added, and I was within my monthly free listing allowance on my Basic Store subscription.
Despite this, I was charged insertion/revision fees on these updates. Per eBay's own policy, there is no fee to revise a listing unless a paid feature is added or the asking price is raised on an auction-format listing - neither applies here, as these were fixed-price listings and I was only updating price and quantity.
How should i deal with such issue?

Mentor1 week agoYou need to take this up direct with ebay customer services.
You may find that it's something to do with increasing the quantity, if that's what you did.
