i want to return a book but seller says he won't accept returns
Is there a law under Consumer rights that I have the right to return an item within 14 days? Seller says he does not accept returns.

Mentor3 months agoOnly a business seller is obliged to accept returns for any reason.
If it is a private seller, then unless there is something wrong with your purchase, seller does not have to accept change of mind returns.
If a seller is prepared to accept a change of mind return you would pay the return postage.

Mentor3 months agoeBay rules state if an item is not as described and the buyer claims within 30 days of the item's last estimated date for delivery, the seller has to accept the item and fully refund.
If the seller has a No Returns on their listing, and the buyer wishes to return for the reasons change of mind then the buyer can refuse.
Why are you wishing to return?
