I sold a faulty item. Refunded fully. Awaiting return. (Once more)
Summary: snapper_irwin shared an experience about selling a faulty item, for which they have already issued a full refund and are now waiting for the return of the item. papso22 responded, but their input was not elaborated on in the context provided.
I sold an item on the 15th of April . The buyer notified that a significant part was missing (totally my fault).
I gave a full refund on the 18th, and paid for a label through eBay, to return the item to me.
The buyer informed me that he wouldn' be able to return the item for 5 days due to business.
the buyer later told me that the 'paid for label' had disappearedand he'd had to use 'an expensive one'....
He no longer responds to my requests.....
What are the rules in that sutuation.
This is the 2nd time I've been in this situation (Last time was a Watch- which i never saw again after paying a full refund...)
Any suggestions would be appreciated

Mentor5 months agoYou should never refund before you get an item back as that closes the case and removes the access to the label.
There are no rules other than don't refund if you want the item back.
