I refunded a Buyer Before they shipped the Item Help

Hi, can someone please help me? I was selling an item, but it turned out not to be what the buyer wanted. It was black instead of white. The box did show that it was black, and the buyer still opened it and then requested a refund, which I accepted because I did not realise myself that it was black. I then accidentally issued a refund.
What should I Do ? What is the best approach to this ?

Mentor5 months agoIf the buyer had opened a case then your refund will have closed it and they would have been told to keep the item. The option to issue a label in the case will have gone.
You could try sending the buyer a label outside of ebay in the hope that they will return the item, but you can't force them to.

Mentor5 months agoIf you have refunded nothing you can do now to stop that refund, or to enforce them to send your item.
You can message them with an offer of paying for the postage for the return, but again , they could accept this and still not post the item.
