Mentor10 months agoDidn’t you read the offer, it does tell you exactly what you will receive, so why be surprised when you receive exactly what ebay told you.

Mentor10 months agoThe Buyer Protection Fee was taken off.
If you send an offer to a buyer the buyer pays the BPF.
If your buyer sends you an offer which you accept, you receive less as the BPF is taken off. This was recently reduced from 75p to 10p.

Mentor10 months agoSellers receive offers minus the buyer protection fee.

Mentor10 months agoIt will be BPF.
If seller makes an offer, ebay add the fee so buyer sees total.
If buyer makes an offer, seller gets the offer amount less BPF.

OP10 months agoThank you so much, couldn't find any info. on eBAY help ... suggested I had been hacked!
How does that affect a counter-offer? from seller?

Mentor10 months agoIf you, as seller, counter offer.
Ebay will add BPF to offer,so buyer sees total they have to pay.
It is a confusing system.
