i need to cancel the prepaid label and provide a different tracking number so I get paid

I sold an item expecting to use easy postage. The item sold and i selected the print a label option. I then realised I couldn't use this service because of the size of the package. I then sent the item via the post office and sent a seperate message to the seller with the tracking number. Because I previously opted to print the label the sold item is showing a tracking number that isn't relevant and my sold and sent items looks like its not been sent. How can i remove and replace the irrelevant tracking info so ebay knows the item has been sent and delivered using the actual correct tracking number. I assume my money will not be released until ebay thinks the item has arrived with the buyer.

The option to change tracking number has been removed by eBay. If necessary you would be able to add the new number to an "Item not received" case if one was opened. Payment will be held for 14 days but you will get it regardless.
