I need help with a return as a seller
Summary: natcards01 is dealing with a return issue where a buyer claimed to have returned an item via a locker, but only a notification exists without confirming proof of shipment. eBay requires a refund despite natcards01 not receiving the item back. tommystrezures suggests contacting Royal Mail for further tracking information, as they might have additional details not visible to the public.
I have accepted a request from a buyer to return something i sold them, the only tracking update i have from royal mail is that the buyer has advised them that they have dropped off the item at a locker, however that doesnt seem like proof to me that its actually been sent.
eBay now is suggesting the parcel should have been returned to me despite me checking my CCTV and guaranteeing i have not received anything, and now eBay is saying i must refund the buyer £120 by tomorrow or ill get automatically charged. The buyer is not responding to my messages and eBays automated help is saying i still have to refund the buyer even if there is no solid evidence that they actually sent the item? Any help with this would be appreciated

Mentor2 weeks agoIt may be worth ringing Royal Mail on this, as the tracking you show here is the same on the Royal Mail website. THey have additional screens for mail etc that we don't see, but something isn't sitting right here. THeir helpline number is 0345 774 0740
