I need a refund on a car that has been removed from listings
I put a bid in for a car.
It said it didn't meet it's reserve price.
Then they offered me a second chance, that way they got to remove the listing.
I bought the car
It's a dud
I want a refund but of course because it's a "second chance" offer the original listing has been removed and I seem to have no recourse.
Anyone offer any light on this please?
Thanks

Mentor4 months agoAs it was a car you couldn't have paid through ebay checkout which is a prerequisite for money back guarantee protection.

Mentor4 months agoIt's nothing to do with it being a second chance offer, there is no moneyback guarantee on motors
You should fully inspect a motor before paying to ensure it meets the description and is acceptable to you, if this was from a business seller you could try Trading Standards probably via Citizens Advice for assistance
