I have received an item I did not order
I ordered 4 toys from 4 different sellers, on the 31st of October. 3 of the items arrived today and a 4th Ebay parcel arrived with a pair of shoes. I have not ordered, nor paid for these. What do I do with them? there is 4th item still not delivered. Could the seller have sent these by mistake?

Mentor11 months agoThat seller or a previous one seems to have sent to to you in error, as someone had your name and address.
For your toy seller, go to the items they are selling, down the left sidebar, go to sold items. Have they sold those shoes? If so, send them a message to say you have received them . They need to send you a payment to cover the return tracked postage cost, back to the seller. Do not be fobbed off if they ask you to send the item onto the correct buyer, this is their job, not yours.
Just keep a watch on the delivery time for the missing toy, as it may have gone to the owner of the shoes!
You have 30 days from that item's last estimated date for delivery to open a case for item not received to receive a full refund. No matter how well meaning, listen to no excuse or promise from the seller that the item Will be sent to you, don't time yourself out, for that refund.

OP11 months agoHi. Thank you for your response. I have tried but as yet, cannot see their sold items. This seems likely as the other 3 items ordered, that day have arrived. I have emailed the seller for further information. Thanks for helping. Regards, Michael

Mentor11 months agoGo their page showing their items for sale, even if it shows none for sale, then far left scroll down until you come to sold.
Use a laptop / PC for this not the app or mobile browser.
Otherwise, just await the reply to the message you sent, but as I said above, it's not your job to send the item onward to the correct buyer , this is for the seller to do, and to send you that postage payment to send the shoes back to them, the seller.
If they are not helpful, you open a case for item not as described citing item does not match description or photos. The case will enforce the seller to pay for that tracked postage if they want their item back, if they don't , you escalate the case, eBay step in and force the refund.
Follow all my guidelines and you will not be out of pocket!
