I have had a non delivery case opened from over a month after delivery date the want a refund
Case opened for non delivery after over a month after the delivery date . I have proof of postage still it was royalmail 2nd class. i contact the buyer twice with no response
Can't up load to because it's not a tracking number and advice for now or the future thank you

Mentor10 months agoHas 30 days passed the item's last estimated date for delivery? If it has, then the buyer can open a case, but they cannot escalate it, it will just close in time. No refunds needed here.
If they are still within that timeline you will have to refund if there is no proof of delivery. Proof of postage is not what is needed here. However, was this a Simple Delivery transaction? Then, eBay handle the refund.
If you used your own postage and not a Simple Delivery label, was this a letter item? Then, with no tracking there is no proof you'll have to prove delivery. If it was a parcel size item, at the bottom of that receipt, is there a long number , it's not a tracking number but if this was a Royal Mail transaction go to their Track & Trace online enter that number, see if the item was delivered, if not, again if the time hasn't lapsed, you'll need to refund.
For future, items parcel size , there is that number on the postal receipt which can show delivery or not.
Be aware too, if you have used a Simple Delivery label, and the item is not received, buyers opening a case for this, eBay refund the buyer and you get to keep the payout. Simple Delivery working at its best here! 🤗

Mentor10 months agoYou're very welcome, and just to add and confirm, if you use Simple Delivery labels, SD is mandatory for Private sellers, then for any lost items, or for any items damaged in transit, eBay take up and pay that refund to the buyer, seller gets to keep the payout. It's the great bonus of SD which is by no means totally perfect!
