I have been scammed
I sold a apple streaming stick. Buyer said they received a tin of hot chocolate. I reported buyer to Ebay but meanwhile they opened an item not as described case. Ebay are now saying that the buyer is returning the hot chocolate for a refund, I am totally stunned and don't know what to do now. I didn't send hot chocolate so I dont want it back but this looks like my only option and I presume I will have to pay return postage too. This is so unfair

No, it isn't, but not all may be lost yet.
You should be able to appeal when the item is returned. eBay probably won't take your word against the buyer's, but sometimes it's possible to show that the size or weight of the item returned doesn't correspond with the cost or conditions of the delivery service you used.

Mentor6 months agoThat is the way it works, buyer opens not as described case, you supply return label and on return refund in full.
Then you can complain to ebay, but it will not get you anywhere.
Failure to supply label and buyer can escalate to ebay, they refund at your expense, you get a defect and no item returned. You also risk bad feedback.
