I have been let down by eBay due to a clear Fedex scam
Summary: littletokyohub expressed frustration over an eBay purchase being sent to the wrong postcode, resulting in a denied claim for a refund. Despite appealing with evidence, eBay rejected the request and advised contacting the courier, FedEx. tommystrezures suggested checking with FedEx and considering opening a case with the payment provider within 120 days of the order.
I have purchased and order on eBay which was then sent with fedex toa different postcode. the postcode is completely different to my order postcode details. so i should be safe if i open the item not received claim right? wrong! they rejected it and supplied the seller with my money. I appealed the case showing every detail that this order was sent to a different address far away from me. once again, the appeal was rejected? what am i supposed to do when eBay staff cannot clearly understand some letters and numbers on a post code is different and that I never received the item due to being sent to another address. eBay emailed me saying they cannot help and that i need to investigate where the parcel is with the courier. ITS BEEN SENT TO A DIFFERENT POST CODE IN THE TRACKING DETAILS. Like how hard it is to see this needs refunding to me.
if anyone has ideas, please help me

Mentor4 days agoThese cases are usually lost because they're not kept simple enough for AI or eBay staff to quite get what's going on.
I'd contact eBay again and ask them the simple question why, when the tracking number shows delivery to a completely different post code to your delivery address, they found the case in favour of the seller.
How did you pay? If you paid with a debit/credit card or ApplePay you have 120 days to issue a not received chargeback.

Mentor4 days agoThis seems to becoming a bit of an issue with fedex in particular.
Two things, have you spoken with Fedex? If so what have they said.
YOu may need to open a case with your payment provider, you have 120 days from ordering.
