I fear I may be getting scammed
A buyer created their account in the middle of the night and then bought my most expensive item, I am a bit scared to post this. Has anyone been in this situation before and had a good end result? I am just a bit nervous. Thanks in advance

Mentor6 months agoGoogle suggests that this particular men's perfume is selling at a premium since being discontinued, and refers to examples on eBay and elsewhere at a higher price than yours sold for.
So I agree that yes, this sale does seem likely to be a genuine bargain seeker.
After selling higher value items I have sometimes used Google street view and people finders to learn more about the buyer. If they seem a "bad fit" for the item sold this could potentially be a warning sign.

People open accounts sometimes just to buy that one searched for item, I see this item is listed as 'Discontinued'. This person may have been after that item , thrilled to find it and opened an account to buy it, it's not the usual scam item such as a phone or Tech item.
If eBay have sent you a message that the buyer has paid you do need to send the item to the name and address eBay provided on the delivery order. Using Simple Delivery you are covered for up to items valued at £750. Under SD you are also covered for any item not delivered, or delivered damaged in transit, eBay cover the cost of those refunds.
