I can't upload photos in the message system , Can anyone help?

Hello. I've been messaging the seller and trying to send her photos of my damaged boots, so we can proceed with the eBay guarantee system, but I just can't find a way to upload them. It used to be so easy to drag and drop photos, but now it's impossible. Any help, please?

Click on reply to message and you should see a square icon on the left of the message box. It's got a jagged line and a dot in it. Click on that to get your files up and you select what you want to attach.

Thank you. That's what I've been trying to do, but the photos won't upload. There seems to be a malfunction, unfortunately. The icon, when I click it, doesn't respond. I don't know how to proceed. The only thing I can think of, which I've mentioned to the seller in our message exchanges, is to send the photos to her by email - but she's consulting the ebay team, because we know this is 'against the rules'.
