i bought an item, it was a little faulty, but useable, how do i give some refund back?

i bought a keyboard, the letter Q didn't work, (still don't. i just copy and paste a "Q" from a webpage, no big deal as it's not used much) i was happy to keep it and gave 5 stars as the seller tried their best to help with suggestions etc, i said no worries and thank you for trying, but they said they wasn't happy selling an item with an issue, and refunded the whole amount, i told them no way, i would like to give the refund back as it was just a minor issue, they refused to take the money, pr...

What a nice thing to want to do. You can't do it through ebay, you would have to ask him for his email address and pay with Paypal, or bank transfer. But it would have to be outside of ebay.

Personally I think you're bonkers to pay even £25 for a keyboard with a letter that doesn't work. It's worthless, and your seller was generous enough to recognise this.

If you really want to keep using it, the letter Q key might be fixable, there's plenty of advice online. Or try using software like Microsoft's PowerToys to remap an unwanted symbol key to type the letter Q.

Of course with both these methods you will need information from seller to complete the refund.

Only other way would be cheque, but again you would need name and address. If a business seller this would be on bottom left of all listings.
