I am the buyer- need to mark order as delivered
I bought an item from a lovely seller.
He entered the wrong tracking details onto the eBay system.
Even though I have the item, I can't see how to say that the order is delivered so that the money can be released to him.
He seems like a lovely guy and I don't want him to worry but I also don't just want to send cash to him separately.
Please help!

Do NOT do this, he would end up being paid twice. If he has suggested this he may not be such a lovely gentleman!
There are ways in which he could have manually entered the correct tracking details, but it may be too late now. There is nothing you can do to "mark the order as delivered".
You don't have to worry - his payment will eventually be released to him after 14 days. The delay is entirely his own fault for failing to use the delivery procedure correctly.
If he's an inexperienced new seller his payment would probably have been held as a security precaution anyway. The one thing you could do that might get his payment released sooner would be to leave positive feedback.
