HUMAN's on EBAY ??
Summary: bugsbayuk is experiencing issues with a purchase on eBay, where a refund was promised but not received, and the item delivered did not match the listing. Attempts to report the issue have failed, and their feedback was removed. tressygirl offered advice on how to handle cases where items are not as described, but bugsbayuk expressed frustration with eBay's processes and concerns about the potential blocking of complaints. They seek a reliable contact to escalate their issue but remain skeptical about receiving a satisfactory resolution.
Help, is there anyway to get help from a human AGENT on ebay?
[ FYI.. I tried to report a listing which is now supplied, after I accepted a refund, but no refund came. The item delivered is seriously not the item in the listing's photo. On top of this, I had huge trouble with Ebay's postal tracking statuses etc, the supplier posted it (so they say) 3 times (Evri say it was posted just once, 3 days after the refund was accepted). It has seriously affected my view of Ebay, I will now go elsewhere in furure, unless I cannot find the item.]
I've tried "reporting", it refuses (about 5-10 attempts so far) to take the report, even though I have made sure the attachments are good.
How does ANYONE have a supplier sanctioned anymore, even my feedback was deleted, no profanities, everything truthful?

OPAug 16, 2026 at 12:24 PMMy question was: "Help, is there anyway to get help from a human AGENT on ebay?"
The AI agent answer given, did not answer that question. But then that same AI Agent then went on to locked this question as "Answered". Thus blocking this question.
It looks like my question was answered though, in a round about fashion.
My Conclusion the ANSWER is: "NO, there are no human AGENTs on EBAY." In effect, Ebay does not help customers who need help. It protects itself with a wall of AI Agents, who do nothing but quote from the online "Help". Because of this, my recent experience is that there are suppliers out there on EBAY and possibly customers too (reading elsewhere here) who are gaming this lack of HUMAN AGENT support contact to their advantage. In so much as refunds given, when they never paid, or in my case a supply which was delayed using false Ebay tracking postal records, which were NEVER made, even twice, until they were faced with having to pay a refund and cancel the supply. Then they finally posted 11 days after saying it was originally posted, and then only 5 days after asked for a failed delivery refund, and over 3 days after I was offered and accepted a refund by the supplier. The goods are not as in the listing either. But I cannot be bothered with them or Ebay anymore. It clearly looks like a failed attempt to claim the goods were delivered when they were knowingly never sent.
EVEN looking up someones feedback no longer guarantees what kind of Ebayer they are, because Ebay DELETES perfectly truthful FEEDback, so that the victims NEVER get to post feedback EVER again for that Ebayer.
BUYERS and SELLERS beware.

Mentor1 month agoYou do not need to contact any eBay agent, you do not have to speak to this unhelpful seller anymore. If you have received an item not as described, then just proceed this way:
If you are still within 30 days of the item's last estimated date for delivery, go right of the item in your Purchase History and from More Actions select Return this item. Select the reason Item Not as Described >> Does Not Match Description or Photos. The seller needs to either refund you in 3 days, or issue a pre paid return label for the return of their item. Once the item is received, they have 48 hours to refund you.
If this doesn't happen, you need to escalate to eBay, eBay step in and force the refund.
Listen to no excuses or promises from the seller to close the case early, and do not forget to escalate.

OP1 month ago · EditedI am so fed up with ebay and this supplier, that I no longer wish to be part of the chain. Therefore, I will not be asking for a refund, which incidentally I already requsted for "Failure to supply" according to the time constraints of the original purchase (+2days) refund, an offer of refund was made to me and I accepted that. The supplier did not refund but continued to send the supply 3 days later.
I still have not closed that refund, because it was not actioned, even though Ebay do not allow me to add anything, just to close it.
After trying here on this forum to "UNMARK" your reply because it was "MARKED" by a moderator or administrator, I am even more conccerned that Ebay may be obstructing customer complaints here on this forum, AI or HUMAN.
I have the evidence, msg, statuses, screenshots etc, I cannot understand why Ebay would legally do this.
This is why I raised the QUESTION here, hoping to get a smart response or at least a contact in Ebay I could post/uplaod it all to and put my case.
At the moment, I am NOT hopeful of a successful response here. I note that my post here was immeditely "locked", I suispect that the respondent is an Ebay operative ( probably AI ), which attempts to repeat the nonsense from the Ebay help system.
