How to withdraw item from auction
Summary: camilldrummon_0 is seeking advice on how to withdraw their item from an auction after it was automatically relisted and received a bid. They attempted to follow instructions to withdraw it without any bids but couldn't find the option. They noted a feature to end the sale, but it seems only to allow selling to the highest bidder. My item was relisted it auction before I realised I had to click a box to stop it being automatically relisted. Although I followed Googles steps to withdraw it from an auction if no bid made, I could find no option to do so.
I've now had 1 bid & have messaged the bidder that I'm trying to withdraw the item, there was an option to end sale which said I'd have to offer the bidder 5% or a max of £20.. but it actually only gives an option to end sale & sell to highest bidder.
So please can someone explain how to get the item withdrawn from the auction?

Mentor3 weeks agoYou may have to pay a fee of 5% or a max of £20 to ebay (not the buyer), if you end an auction early with bids. That's set out in Ebay's help and contact which is the best source of up to date ebay information.
