How to set listings to women only?
Hello, I’ve been getting a lot of messages from creepy men on my account and asking me to send them underwear and asking for pictures and asking me to send them my ‘worn’ dresses. How do I stop this and how can I get the creepy men away from my profile so It’s set to just women only who can view my profile? Im honestly sick of getting messages thinking yay I can sell a dress but then it’s just another creep yet again asking for pictures 🤢🤢🤢

Mentor5 months agoNot possible. Even if it was possible there is no way to stop a man registering as a woman.
In my opinion it is a mistake to have your photo on ebay and also if you are modelling the clothes, not a good idea.
You already have 27 members following you and you do not know who they are, and you cannot remove them.

OP5 months agoIf it was possible it would be much harder for them to go out of their way to make a women’s profile so I still would prefer to set it that way

Mentor5 months agoIf you include photos of the clothes being modelled you're unfortunately going to attract these kind of questions, and deter any serious buyers. Most clothes sellers use a mannequin or, in the absence of one of those, just hang the dresser on a hanger above a doorframe and take a pic.

OP5 months agoI think the dresses should sell better if they see them on a model as they would in any clothing website. That should not encourage creeps. It’s just disgusting, thanks for your input though!

Mentor5 months agoSadly a lot of things shouldn't encourage creeps, but they do, all you can do is be aware.
Buying from a website is a bit different from buying from one of the online selling platforms. Sellers don't usually model their own clothes they're clearing out of their wardrobe on eBay.
