How to send a return label
I cannot understand how to provide a return label to a buyer.If I go onto Royal mail for example,do I have to buy a label but put my own address on it. Ive tried and failed previously and had to ask eBay but still didn't understand their explanation.

Mentor1 week agoIf a UK buyer opens a return on ebay they will automatically receive a label paid for by you. If the buyer is outside the UK that doesn't happen so you would have to buy a label from a courier's website, eg. Royal Mail, and send them the link or QR code for it.

OP5 days agoNo that didn't happen.I asked an agent by phone if it was correct,he said yes. But instead eBay stepped in .So asked another agent and they said no,that is not correct..Advised to to go in person to post office butI have learned this is no good as they don't help. I'm now tearing my hair out at what to do.

Is the eBay return case still open? If so, there's an option to 'issue label' in it.

OP3 days agoYes Uk, Thank you Finally, I had to open an account with Royal Mail and buy a label addressed to myself

Mentor3 days agoYou should not have had to do that.
If the buyer is UK based and has opened a return then you need to click on the 'issue label' link in it to get an eBay tracked returns label, not buy your own from Royal Mail.

OP3 days agoI know but had no choice. There was no issue label link , even the agent I spoke to said that. And eBay said she will get to keep item and a refund and I wasn't prepared to do that.
