how to report a seller selling counterfeit goods

Question

I bought after shave , the packaging was sealed , the box & the bottle looked authentic but when I tried the product it was nothing like the real thing , it is clearly a fake , the seller doesn't accept returns , Ebay investigate the product listing & say its not counterfeit BUT the product clearly is .

Any suggestions how to get Ebay to engage with me or should I go to Trading Standards?

Tom - Hi , I did that (within the first day) Ebay checked the listing & said it was all ok , they don't seem to want to know about the product its self (only the description ) I went to the appeal process & got the same result . Someone has suggested I go through the money back guarantee but can only do if the seller doesn't respond after 3 business days . I will give that a go - many thanks for your help it is greatly appreciated

If its within 30 days of receiving the item open a item not as described case, to obtain a refund. eBay wont engage with you per se as the system is automated, but you will get your money back.
