How to get past the bot created responses to messages
Hi, I bought a TV remote that after 4 months of fairly light usage some of the buttons stopped working. This is now outside of the returns period, but a TV remote should last longer than 4 months. I have raised the issue with the seller and got an "outside of return period" and not interested response. How do I raise this with e-bay?

You have 30 days to return an item that's not as described via eBay, same for PayPal.
If you paid with a debit/credit card or ApplePay you have 120 days to issue a not as described chargeback.
