How to force a refund from a reported and suspended account

My son made a purchase then returned it, and the seller has now reported him so he cannot use eBay but hasn’t had a refund, he did nothing wrong and they will not communicate with me? How can I resolve this through eBay?

It's nigh on impossible for a buyer to lose out on eBay.

If an item arrives that is damaged or doesn't match the description or photo then the buyer may return it and get a full refund.

Has the return case now closed?

What does the message from eBay about your son being reported actually say, what was he reported for?
