How to claim via simple delivery when an item returned to me is damaged
A buyer has returned an item to me. The package had a large split in when it arrived so I need to claim from royal mail but how does this work with simple delivery? eBay is only giving me the option to refund even though iv said there's a problem

Mentor2 weeks agoYou can't claim from RM as with simple delivery you have no contract with them.
The buyer should have opened a case using the reason 'damaged in transit' what did they actually do?

OP2 weeks agoThe item was damaged when they returned it to me, it wasn't damaged when they received it from me
