How to claim on damaged items from delivery
I recently used the EBay International courier service. A part of my item was damaged in transit. I know I have insurance, but the insurance is through EBay, not a 3rd party courier…. How do I claim? I can’t seem to report the issue anywhere. The buyer has now logged the damage and eBay are saying I can off a partial refund or a full refund, but can’t find anywhere for this to be claimed through insurance?

Mentor3 weeks agoYOu don't claim through the insurance. Depending on how was sent you still need to refund up front and follow up with the carrier later.

Mentor3 weeks agoIf you have any issues with that you can contact eBay on your phone only (not a laptop or PC) to ring them or request they ring you. So view this link on your phone:

Mentor3 weeks agoAs long as you used ebay's Simple Delivery postage to send to the GSP UK hub ebay should pay the refund. You should respond on the case with the postal tracking number and state that according to Global T&Cs you are not responsible for loss or damage in transit after it has arrived safely at the UK hub.
